During this past week I debated back and forth about whether to continue having access to the several million songs that I could listen to with my Amazon Prime membership or if I should try the 30-day free trial of Amazon Music Unlimited, which would give me access to over 100 million songs. When you think about it, you cannot come close to listening to this many songs in an entire lifetime. The main point is that I would have access to many songs, if not all, that are contemporary Christian songs that draw me closer to Jesus Christ.
When all was said and done, I convinced myself to go with the 30-day trial to see if I would have access to many of the songs that I have listened to over the past twenty years. Well, not matter which song I typed into the search box, it appeared on my phone, and I was able to listen to that song. This was very cool! Keep in mind that I grew up in the 1970s and 1980s listening to music on records, eight track tapes, cassettes, and DVDs. Things are different now compared to when I was a youngster in terms of having access to music.
Even though I am in my first week of a 30-day free trial, I feel that I will purchase a yearly membership at the end of the thirty days. I will have two choices. One choice will be to pay a monthly fee. A second choice will be to pay for a yearly membership. I will probably go with the latter because it will save me a few dollars.
During the past several days, it has been so nice to be able to create a playlist of many Christian songs that help me with learning about my faith and drawing me closer to Jesus Christ. The songs below are some of my favorites that I have in my playlist. I have so enjoyed listening to these songs while working out at the gym, making a meal in the kitchen when no one is at home, trimming and cutting grass at our family home, and driving around running errands. When you have the opportunity, take the time to go to YouTube.com or your favorite venue to listen to songs, type each of the following songs into the search box, and listen to your heart’s content. I hope that these songs help you with learning more about your faith and drawing you closer to Jesus Christ as much as they have done so for me. Enjoy!
